Huawei Showcases 7.2 Tbps Near-Package Optics Module for AI Infrastructure

Huawei has showcased what it describes as the industry’s first 7.2-terabit-per-second near-package optics module for AI infrastructure. The module combines 36 optical channels, each operating at 200 gigabits per second.
