VibeSafe Builder Launches AI App Creation With Cost and Security Controls

Summary

VibeSafe Builder is an AI app builder for founders and solo builders that converts plain-English requests into working apps and websites. The first AI build is free, requires no payment card or API key, and uses a lighter AI model; paid builds use Anthropic models. Users can see an estimated generation cost before each request, set a spending cap, and keep failed generations separate from visible build spend. Each change is represented as a diff and can be rolled back, while two consecutive failed fixes trigger a fresh diagnosis. Builds are scanned for issues such as hardcoded credentials, insecure requests, eval(), and data exfiltration before publication, with an additional live credential check for deployments to Vercel. Projects can begin as portable single-file HTML apps, grow into multi-file React projects, connect to GitHub, and deploy to a user-owned Vercel account.
