Google Labs Introduces CC, an AI Agent for Families

Google Labs has introduced CC, an experimental AI agent designed to help families coordinate household logistics. CC has its own Google Account and can support up to six members, each of whom chooses which information to share, such as school, sports, travel or veterinary emails. It creates a shared “Your Day Ahead” brief, connects with Calendar and Tasks, tracks changing dates and to-dos, and can add events based on shared information. With permission, CC can also fill out permission slips and activity-registration PDFs, create school-supply lists, and prepare weekly meal plans, asking for missing details when needed. The agent responds only to group members and does not act or share information outside the group without permission. Users can manage recurring sharing from selected senders, forward one-off messages or images, and share Drive files, folders or calendars. CC works with Gmail, Chat, Docs and Calendar, and each instance runs on an isolated cloud computer powered by Google’s Antigravity agentic harness and the latest Gemini models. It maintains shared household memory while separating group information from personal details. CC is an early Google Labs experiment for people aged 18 and over in the U.S. with personal Google accounts; existing users can request an upgrade and new users can join a waitlist.
