Thunderobot AI Master M7000 Mobile Workstation Goes on Sale for ¥19,900
Summary
Thunderobot announced that its first AI mobile workstation, the AI Master M7000, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on September 21. Its launch price after subsidies is ¥19,900. The 2.45 kg machine uses an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, 64 GB of memory, and a dedicated AI SSD, and comes with the Herdsman local inference engine preinstalled. The company says it can run models with up to 120 billion parameters, including GPT-OSS-120B. The key to that capacity is Phison’s aiDaptiv+ approach, which uses the SSD to temporarily supply model weights that do not fit in memory, extending the space available during inference. The retail configuration combines 64 GB of memory with 768 GB plus 85 GB of AI SSD storage. Other listed specifications include a 16-inch 2.5K display, a 99 Wh battery, OCuLink, 2.5GbE, and a microSD UHS-II reader. Thunderobot positions the workstation for creative work, development, research, and sensitive workloads where users want local inference.
