Crafting Express Runs and Coordinates AI Agents in a Local Docker Container

Summary

Crafting Express is a local evaluation edition of Crafting's platform for running and coordinating teams of AI agents in a single Docker container. Users launch it with the Crafting CLI, which guides sign-up, login, persistent Docker volume creation, and access to the web UI and CLI. A lead agent can divide work among specialist agents for tasks such as coding, testing, and security; sub-agents can run in parallel in separate conversation contexts, return results, and receive follow-up work. The platform supports models through OpenRouter, compatible self-hosted endpoints, AWS Bedrock, and Google Cloud Vertex AI, while keeping agent definitions and execution environments separate from model selection. Teams can assign dedicated or shared workspaces, allow engineers to work alongside agents, and restrict tools, dependencies, network access, and credentials by role. Agents can also test changes against real services and production-like dependencies in isolated application slices. Express is provided only for trial and evaluation and runs inside one container without a warranty. Crafting positions its Enterprise edition for production deployments, with Kubernetes connectivity, multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure, managed credential controls, and SOC 2 Type II certification.
