Friday Work Brings Coding Agents and Teams Into One Shared Workspace

Summary

Friday Work is a desktop workspace for Windows and Mac that puts teammates and coding agents into one live session. The product says teams can run Claude Code, Codex and Cursor side by side on the same context, while also using Friday’s own agent. Teammates can join by link, watch an agent’s work, suggest a redirect, or take control when it is their turn; one person drives each agent so concurrent changes do not conflict. Users can bring an existing Claude Code or Codex session into Friday and continue it with its accumulated memory. The service connects GitHub, Slack and Linear once so agents in the session can use those integrations. It offers Plan, Manual and Auto control modes: Plan only proposes changes, Manual edits files but asks before running commands, and Auto runs commands without asking. In Manual mode, approval requests are visible to the whole team and are handled by the person driving that agent. Friday records who asked for an action, what each agent did, and what tools returned, with Replay for revisiting the session. The company says agents run on each user’s computer and accounts, and that repositories are not uploaded to run them. A browser-based rules generator creates files for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The Free plan costs $0 and includes Friday’s own model with 5,000 credits every five hours, sessions for three people, three workspace members and one agent per session. Pro costs $20 per month, or $18 monthly when billed yearly, and adds unlimited Friday usage, frontier models, 550 frontier credits every five hours, 10 people per session and 25 members. Max costs $100 per month and raises the allowance to 2,750 frontier credits, with unlimited people and members and up to 10 agents per session.
