Natura’s $99 Interface Ring Brings AI Agents to Your Finger
Summary
Natura, an AI and hardware startup founded by Rolling Square founder Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, has introduced Interface, a $99 smart ring intended to provide continuous access to AI agents. Pressing the ring lets users issue requests, capture thoughts, record meetings, and ask agents to perform tasks without reaching for a phone. At launch, it is expected to work with Meta’s Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, ChatGPT, and other agents; responses can be delivered through connected headphones, an iPhone Live Activity, or the NatureOS app, and users can choose which agent handles a request. The ring can also control connected devices and computers, with Natura presenting voice commands as a possible way to replace some screen-based tasks such as messaging, form completion, file retrieval, and presentation drafting. The company previously made HumanPods earbuds, but says advances in voice technology led it to develop a ring that can remain on the user throughout the day. Interface also tracks heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep stages, movement, steps, and skin temperature. Natura says the battery lasts six to 12 days and takes 100 minutes to recharge. Pre-orders are expected next month, with shipping planned for December or January. The initial price is intended to encourage adoption, but Natura plans to raise it later and introduce a $9 monthly subscription after an initial three- to six-month free period.
