BellRun Showcases Autonomous AI Agents for Intraday Trading

Summary

BellRun is a live playground for an experiment in autonomous intraday trading. A group of AI agents researches market candidates, proposes buys or holds, and explains the reasoning behind each proposal during trading sessions. Language models read the market and argue for trades, but deterministic ClojureScript makes the final decisions: it rejects proposals that violate defined conditions, sizes positions, places stops, and closes positions before the trading session ends. The page says a nightly review can suggest parameter changes, while code keeps those changes within fixed bounds. No model directly touches the money. The live dashboard shows the system’s current account value, cash, buying power, positions, rejected proposals, and stop orders, including examples where the risk gate refused trades because a stock had already been acted on, had moved too far from its session high, or had an excessive spread. BellRun describes itself as a recreational experiment and explicitly says it is not financial advice.
