GSD Task Manager Offers an Offline-First Eisenhower Matrix and MCP Server

Summary

GSD Task Manager is a privacy-first task manager built around the Eisenhower matrix, which separates work into Do First, Schedule, Delegate, and Eliminate. Its current v11 shell provides a responsive four-quadrant interface with drag-and-drop movement, quick capture, full editing, search, keyboard navigation, due dates, tags, dependencies, archiving, dashboards, and review analytics. The application stores tasks in browser IndexedDB by default and works as an offline PWA, with JSON import and export and user-controlled update prompts. Optional PocketBase synchronization supports multiple devices, OAuth through Google, Apple, or GitHub, and realtime server-sent events; local-only mode remains the default, and clearing browser data can erase local tasks. A separately installed MCP server exposes 19 task, analytics, and diagnostic tools, including validated and dry-run-aware writes. The project is a Next.js 16 static export using React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Dexie, and PocketBase, with Vitest and Playwright coverage. Development requires Bun 1.3.14, Node.js 22.22.2 or newer, and a current browser; production builds are emitted to the out/ directory. The repository is licensed under MIT, and its documentation distinguishes source, tests, build artifacts, deployment, and live-runtime evidence.
