AI Hub Offers 91 Open-Access Lesson Plans for Teaching AI
Summary
AI Hub is an open-access library of 91 curated lesson plans and classroom activities designed to teach middle and high school students about artificial intelligence. The materials cover how AI works, its risks and benefits, and its effects on society. Six nonprofit organizations contributed educational resources to the collection. The nonprofit behind the project worked with 16 teachers, who reviewed more than 200 resources and selected materials they considered most useful for classrooms. Schools across Pittsburgh will use the lessons during the current year. The organizers plan to expand the resources nationally over the coming years and are seeking feedback on what additional topics students should learn.
