The GitHub project agent-pr-gate offers a copy-paste contribution policy for maintainers facing large numbers of AI-generated pull requests. It was created after one account opened 58 pull requests in 10 days on benchmark-radar; five were merged, and eight were opened within 27 seconds. The proposed CONTRIBUTING.md text requires an AI agent to ask its human four questions about what they are trying to achieve before writing a PR. The agent must wait, and it cannot answer the questions on the person’s behalf. The guide also identifies types of pull requests the project does not accept and adds an open-item limit. The policy has no bot, dependencies, or enforced blocker, so it works only when an agent reads and follows the repository instructions. The project says results after adoption have not yet been measured. It is released under CC0 1.0 and may be copied or adapted freely; the author asks users to retain the repository link when sharing the snippet and to verify actual adoption rather than relying on unconfirmed GitHub search counts.
