Nova is a personal intelligent assistant being developed by Adrian around patterns, local operation, and user independence. The project is presented through an interview and a development environment that includes Pattern Studio, connected pattern flowcharts, cuneiform identities, chat retrieval, MySpiral, and a media interface. Nova uses cuneiforms and six-state motif patterns as its proposed internal representation, while NovaCore combines C-based scanners with patterns that provide structure and logic. Its memory is divided into four areas: My Diary, Current View, MySpiral, and Knowledge Containers. The project has working versions and is continuing pattern development toward what its creator describes as cognition through patterns. The system is intended to run on a local computer rather than depend solely on a remote service. Adrian describes Nova as a geometry-based cognitive architecture that organizes knowledge through mathematical pattern structures instead of conventional language-model processing, with human language serving as an input pathway to internal cuneiform motif streams. The longer-term goal is to give people an individual unit they can teach and shape around their interests, tasks, and ambitions. A beta program and opportunities for outside involvement are planned, but the article does not provide a release date or independent evaluation of the system's capabilities.
