VETNET Proposes Benchmark Datasets for Veterinary AIVETNET is an ecosystem of live benchmark datasets and evaluation frameworks intended to accelerate AI innovation in animal science and veterinary medicine. The proposal focuses on producing standardized, high-quality datasets and enabling collaboration among academic and non-academic institutions. It responds to a gap identified between rapid AI progress in human medicine and the fragmented state of veterinary AI development. The paper presents VETNET as infrastructure for more consistent evaluation and coordinated development in the veterinary domain, rather than as a new AI model.
